Set the oven temp wrong, then was called away. Temp reads 200F - cross-cut pot roast. I tasted it- it's ok if a bit overdone, there is lots of beef stock,wine that it cooked in. I'm thinking of making the gravy, slicing the beef and warming it gently in the oven just before serving. Dinner is in 2 hours.

I just realized that the ribs I thought i put in the slow cooker around 9am....haven't been cooking. The slow cooker wasn't plugged in. They've been sitting in a room-temperature slow cooker for 6 hours. I just turned the cooker on high in hopes that they might be done in three hours? Are these going to be safe to eat? Okay, so my brother just brought home a thing of chicken breasts. About six or so of them.

Problem is -- I don't cook chicken.  I try as hard as I can to avoid chicken, due to about three years straight of mostly having that for food.

Now I need to so it doesn't live in our freezer for years like that rib rack he still hasn't cooked.

Fish: I am not a fish eater. My husband loves the stuff. I feel bad that I never make it for him, and I also want to expose our daughter (almost 21 months) to it because I know that it is has healthy fats, plus we are trying to eat better. I'm trying to find more meals to feed my 1yo son. I've been stuck on chicken and pasta meals since they're so tender, and he doesn't seem to like ground beef yet. I'd love to make pork in some manner, but it all seems so tough for someone without teeth (his 2nd/3rd teeth just broke through yesterday). Anyone with a good, honey garlic chicken recipe? I have chicken thighs, not sure if they're boneless/skinless because they're way at the bottom of the deep freezer and I'm too lazy to check. I've got dinner duty on Saturdays and I want to attempt to cook rather than buy pre-made food from walmart, lol.
